Both the Warwick Professor Black 2017 and the Warwick Cabernet Franc 2015 received Trophies in the categories, ‘Best Sauvignon Blanc Semillon Blend’ and ‘Best Cabernet Franc’ respectively.
In 1988, Warwick was the first farm in South Africa to produce a single vineyard Cabernet Franc. The Warwick Cabernet Franc 2015 is a continuation of this legacy and is made from a 20-year-old single vineyard. It’s a powerful yet linear wine with flavours of dark fruit and spice.
The Warwick Professor Black 2017 was officially launched on 25 June 2018. A wine in the style of white Bordeaux, it’s a classic blend of Sauvignon Blanc (65%) and Semillon (35%); crafted using site-specific grapes.
